Summer STM Missions Application 2023

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20)

Dear prospective applicant,

Thank you for your interest in Symphony Church Summer Missions 2023! We believe that with willing hearts and able hands, the Lord will accomplish amazing things on the mission field this summer. But before any of this work gets underway, a careful application process must take place.

Our commitment is to purposefully and prayerfully open up different ministry opportunities that will allow our short-term missionaries to experience cross-cultural ministry as well as grow in their love for the peoples of this world. We ask that you prayerfully consider your participation in our our summer missions projects. Although we do our best to provide opportunities aligned with your preferences, we ask that you be flexible and open regarding which location you are sent to. We also have a limited amount of spots available per trip—therefore, not everyone who applies may be accepted. We will prioritize Partners and will consider other criteria based on the needs of the mission sites.

A major emphasis in our short-term mission philosophy is to stress the preparation process before leaving for the field. Training starts during the spring semester and continues intensively into the summer, therefore you will need to evaluate whether or not you will be able to commit to this training period as well as the actual field duration of the mission project.

All applications must be submitted by MARCH 5TH 2023.

In addition to the formal application, a brief recommendation from your family group servant or micro-church leader must also be submitted. If you are a leader in either of those groups, please ask your family group coach or micro-church zone leader for the recommendation. In addition, all college students must receive parental consent to qualify.

Please reach out to Jeannie Wooh (jeannie.wooh@symphonychurch.com) with any questions!

The Lord bless you and keep you,

Symphony Staff
