Kevin & Sharon Huang

Kevin was born in Taiwan and raised up in the Bay Area, California. From childhood he attended a Taiwanese-American church, Immanuel Presbyterian Church of Fremont. As a college student, he attended summer short-term mission trips to Taiwan, where he got his first experience with serving in missions and seeing God work in the lives of the Taiwanese. In 2012, he participated in OMF Taiwan’s Serve Asia program, where he served alongside OMF missionaries for four months in the city of Chiayi, Taiwan. Upon returning to the States, he attended Trinity Evangelical Divinity School for his M.A. in Intercultural Studies. Following graduation, he joined OMF International as a full-time member, and joined the Taiwan field from 2018-2021 to outreach to Taiwan’s working class people with the Gospel.

Kevin met his wife Sharon in Taiwan and they got married in 2020. They both share experiences of living in the U.S. and Taiwan and share a passion to serve in ministry full-time. Kevin and Sharon feel called to join in and support Thrive Taipei’s vision of raising up young, Taiwanese disciples of Christ and to see the generational impact of the Gospel in Taiwan.
